Two sheds
« on: September 30, 2008, 12:39:50 »
I have decided to have another shed.

One to keep tools and the other to make a nice sitting area.

Just thought I would share that with you all. :)

Haven't got one shed yet  :(

And only have a smallstone to sit on  :( Not very comfy and my mum did warn me of the consequences of sitting on cold hard surfaces  :o

But enjoy your second shed  :) and post a piccy of the luxury of seperate seating area - will it have curtains  ??? aahh........I can only dream.

Yes it will have curtains. It will also have two old wicker chairs in.My mum keeps threatening to throw them out so I have bagged them.

It will also have my little cooker in for making tea and coffee, also pan for bacon sarnies.

All tools will be banned.

Suzanne...........Have you tried freecycle? :)

Lucky you. Very civilised. Make sure the leisure shed has a good outlook.

One allotment site I was on had a delivery of tatty beach huts for us to use as sheds. Loads to go round and I ended up with two.

They were lovely little huts with verandas. One for tools and the other facing west to watch the sun go down with a beer in hand after an evenings work.

My old friend Ron had the best allotment shed ever.

He had a wonderful wood burning stove that made the place so warm and cosy in the winter.

If the gate was open you could go in,if it was closed he was having a kip and you had to call again later.

Sadly he is no longer with us but I spent a very hot summer with him a few years ago.He kindly put up a new gate for me,put in steps and built my glasshouse. We had a lot of fun. :)

Hoping to get a shed soon - then will build a pergola so I can sit outside as well as inside. When the dream is complete I'll have a lottie shed warmng party with tea and biscuits.  :)

Congrats on your new shed.....You can never have too much shed space.

I love my shed, that's where I love to do my reading on wet days.  ;D
