Topic: Unread topics / Missing threads

This past 2-3 months or so - the unread topics disappear before being read.  I read a topic then return to the unread section.  It shows no new topics but I have not cleared them and there was several pages a moment previously.  Other times, if I do not log on for over 24hrs,  sometimes it shows 'no new topics'. 

Anybody else experience this?

Yes I have, try deleting cookies?  It seemed to work for me, but sometimes it fixes itself.
