The next thing he does is accuse you of being a troll, Rosebud. It's a shame, we're a pretty welcoming bunch on here and would still be entirely welcoming if the continuous side swipes stopped.

I don't think it is vanilla.....Vanilla has alternate leaves...but then you can't see the leaf arrangement very well. It does look like an orchid though.

Speaking as someone who has, gratefully, been given a second chance by DAN on this site, I am against banning.

There are always posters that can get the heckles up, but you can choose to ignore them.

You have to realise that there are some dedicated wind up merchants out there, and have to sort the wheat from the chaff.

I have had to say to myself "I shall not be drawn.  I shall not be drawn."  As much as what is posted goes against my grain.

I love this site, and should be unhappy if it started to ban posters.

We can all be a bit controversial, but that's what this site is all about.

Keep up the good work DAN.

Looks like an orchid to me. Uses?? Aphrodisiac, curing sterility ... well If you lived in China many years ago. Don't think it's vanilla though, but what do I know?

I talk to folk like Ollie C and George. ::) ::)

I agree, no banning,  I was  agreeing with Rosebud about the ignoring which is what I aim to do now. I just do find it hard for the posters who are new or ask a simple question, and I do get cross when I  start to think the point of a post IS to get folks annoyed. Regretfully this is what I am believing is the case here.

In the beginning I thought it was an odd sense of humour or a language difficulty both of which is  I hane np problem with but not anymore.

Sad, but !!

So I am out.

I hope that doesn't mean you will stop posting.

I think this site is a 'broad church'.  It has its irritations, but it also has its wonderful friendly informative side.

Stick in there Jeannine, please. ;D

He's sending PM's now:

<<the moderator privatly warned them to be have or they would be banned.>>

I told him that if I was the mod, I'd be warning him. But no, I don't think he's done anything to warrant banning, yet.

Thank you for the answer finally, TGG.

This topic is smattered with unnecessary jibes and comments. It's not what the gallery was set-up for. I hope we can all take a step back and a breath and consider the content of future Gallery topics.

PS: Apart from one reply to a PM, no Moderator PM's were sent to any contributor concerning this topic.

This thread has ended and is locked.

Thanks, Kew.
