Ah ha - how anal - but the owner does have a "cac" rover. Note the vertical lapped fencing on the main part of the fencing - i like their style..

TGG ?

I cycled down there this morning to get the other images, I thought the thread was getting a bit out of hand, (sarcastic smiley)! The vertical lap was installed by clarkes fencing, Keef. ;)
You couldn't make it up!

Using lap fencing that way up is fine if the width is greater than the height. The 'odd' bit looks ridiculous.

Someone's been firing an air gun at the trunk of that tree from across the road, and the owner has put up the fence to protect it. Simple. No signposts involved, and we can now see there's no troll lurking behind it waiting to pounce.

well guess my first guess was correct.
Quote
The fence is to protect the wall while it being fixed and people away from the back of the bush behind it..
My guess was close enough for goverment work. Since keeping people shooting something is pretty much same thing.

Keeping people shooting something?? Are you suggesting that it's a firing range now? Or did you just ignore the preposition?
