Hi there all I am new to this forum just to pose a question to you all would like some advice, I started to make a compost heap at the back end of last year now the year is going well puttin all the waste matter from the garden veg matter and any thing that I can get my hands on, now when my potatoes finished that was the early ones I had put some of the finished plants in there and ever since the I have loads of big fat slugs coming out of the top of the bin is that normal or what, I am turning the compost on a weekly basis and looks really nice as the rabbit matter is going in there as well, will the slugs make any difference or not can any one help with this many thanks Colin ?? put this in the wrong place sorry now put in the basics area thxs
