Just been and parted company with £20+.... then OH took me to another garden centre and mugged me for some planters@£ stupid amounts, well at least they were on BOGOF....  ::)

I got me a pack of them too, Lish... Did everyone else leave them 'cos they're rubbish gardeners, or because they're rubbish plants...

Friend of mine says the flat yellow beans often have the best flavour. We're just not yet used to them over here.

I planted some Goldfield seedlings a couple of weeks ago (sown in Root trainers  towards the end of July), but it's obviously touch and go whether they fruit or not. If they do and turn out to be horrible, I'll let you all know  :)

PS Finally got to a Wyevale on Monday. They didn't have the one thing I definitely wanted (the Cucino mini cuke) but there were enough other seeds to make me happy that I made the trip.
