Shop bought beefsteak and planted the seeds . Has been in doors all its life. can anybody explain the black marks?

looks like the start of blossom end rot. not a disease but due to mineral deficiency (calcium) from uneven watering (rootball dries out and can't take up nutrients properly). It happens.

Hi I agree, blossom end rot. It is only usually on the first fruits though so just remove the damaged ones. The later on ones should be just fine.
