My neighbour gave me a cutting last year but doesn't know what it's called, can anyone help?

There are at least 102 species of fuschia, so it may be difficult to pinpoint it. I had a look through a book on Fuschias and came up with several possibilities - Annabel, White Joy, Aphrodite. Ting-a-Ling and Moyra. I think the latter one is most likely...

either way, it is a smashing flower.

I have just been reading up on these and the article said that there were 4,998 varieties!

Never mind about the name, just enjoy. You can take cuttings to overwinter for next year if you are careful

Apparently there are over 10,000 cultivars as well!! Not sure what the difference between cultivar and varieties, but i agree with the last post. Enjoy it and take cuttings!

Ooops didn't know there were that many! Will just refer to it as "Margaret" (neighbour's name) and take some cuttings  ;D
