Yes ,almost unrecognisable from the Brum of my childhood.
I think the Bull ring is fab,and the canal area is wonderful.Feel very proud of synphony Hall. What a wonderful place to go and hear music.
I feel nostalgic for the old markets, you can only recognise the area now by st Martins church, still standing and still being used thank goodness.
Brum is a great city .

I agree Birmingham is a fine city, but one lost IMO by to much change.

I miss the flee markets even the smelly old bus station ;D.

Im not a fan of change, but still i feel blessed to live in such a wonderfull city and i always seem to feel more at home whilst sat next to st Martins church, a sight unspoilt by fashion lol.

Im a big fan of some of our beautiful buildins we have and can spend a lot of time just looking at the amazing work our ancesters left for us, how many local builders could live up to that kind of standard?

They have made awonderful job of the Town Hall.I love the Hall of Memory, such an odd little building.

Not much has changed in Moseley,I collect old postcards and take away the cars and it is still the same.

Have you visited the Art Gallery lately,we take it for granted but I went with my daughter and it is well worth a visit, they have a lovely cafe there as well. :)
