all leaf and no flower

hi , can anyone explain why some of my cauli's have not produced the flower (or is it a curd), they are some plants that I bought last Oct to over winter and we have had three beauties but the rest seem to be just growing and growing and not producing anything

So are mine.  Still - I am very patient.  I am still waiting for some PSB that just seems to be getting bigger and bigger.  If it gets much bigger, I might climb it to see if anybody has stashed some gold up there.

A lot may depend upon variety and feeding but as a general rule, when you see the  leaves beginning to twist as in the first picture the curd is just about ready form as seen in the second picture;






Then that should form into this;
