Electric Generator Wanted
« on: July 19, 2008, 11:04:48 »
Hi All.
Not sure where to park this post, so forgive me if it is not in the right section, thanks.

I really need some advice, I have a small garden tiller which is ideal for my allotment as I have calved it up into secions for ease of use and crop rotation. Problem, it is electric and I will need a small generator for it, so any recommendations or maybe you know of one for sale.

I would rather not spend the earth, need it to plant some veg (bad joke) and it needs to be able to generate over 500W of power.

Plus the allotments are having a summer barbecue and it will be used to power a PA system for music.

Any help advice etc, would be very helpfull.

Hoffey,
I don't know what you want to pay but a brand new Sealey caravan generator gives you 800 watts of power for about £130, or MM car boot on a Sunday morning there is a chap on there with power tools and Gennies  personally I would be aware of anything like that off a car boot :)
