I love growing

 ;D I only have pots to grow in as a lot of u know but still think it is fantastic 8)
today i have picked my first
toms
green peppers
chillies
overwintered cauliflower's (abit late but it has been cold)
blue berry's
raspberry
strawberry
tayberrys
blackcurrents
and runnerbeans
I have just picked the last of my peas (have some more in but they wont be readyfor a couple of weeks)
and have picked salad leaves and a cos lettuce 8)

wow, trinity, well done  ;D
your soft fruit is well ahead of ours,our blueberries ,raspberries,tayberries and blackcurrants aren't nearly ripe yet, and the runners are only just flowering, you must be sheltered compared to us  ;D

It is a small garden and fully enclosed and rarely gets any frost as is usually 5 to 10 degrees warmer than the local temp

With no heat - or cover.?? Quite amazing!!

We haven't even got a Pepper set yet.

the peppers have been in a mini green house until 3 weeks ago but every thing is out side now every thing seems to be doing great this year

Wow what a great variety...I am finding that stuff grown in my garden in pots are really yielding much higher & quicker than the same things at my allotment...guess its the protection from the wind & pigeons etc thats helping them along

I an in Hartlepool which is in the north east on the coast but we are surrounded by the Cleavland hills so the area is a little warmer than the rest of the north but not much and my garden is a tiny little micro climate all in itself we had 3 days a couple of weeks ago that where around 23 degrees by the thermometer in my front garden am my back garden thermometer was reading 47 degrees by the third day had to water my toms 5 times in one day :o
