Introduction
« on: January 31, 2004, 19:18:10 »
Hi, I've just discovered this group - there's a lot to read ;)
We got our lottie last March - it was very overgrown, but we managed to get some potatoes in, and some mange tout, cabbage and strawberries.
Unfortunately I have been ill for the last few months, so have not been able to work the lottie at all, so it is very overgrown.
I need ideas to help me reclaim some usable land to grow a few things this year which will not take too much effort, as I am still not fully fit  :'(

Regards,
Sue

Hi Sue and welcome

I'm sure you'll find lots of good advice will come thick and fast!  Most here seem to advocate a little reclamation at a time, both so you do not overstretch yourself and also so, while you are doing the next bit, you have the lovely satisfaction of seeing your cleared section growing things!

Check out the Gardner's website, among others, full of information.

Happy Lottying!

Kate

No relation of Sue T's?
But seriously, get fit first - it should be a 'joy'(?), rather than a labour of love. = Tim
