No.
If you plant now, you will benefit from warm soil and long hours ofdaylight.
Try a maincrop variety as they will continue growing longer, but you will still be able to dig the first roots in early September!

Probably getting the seed potatoes now will be your biggest challenge, someone on here may know where you can get them though. Good luck!

I planted two and a half rows of PFA on the 8th I don't know why I left it this late ??? but I didn't dig last years up until November, so they will still have plenty of time in the ground. ;D ;D ;D

Kev, you can lift PFA in January and get a much bigger crop. They don't lift them commercially until the first week in November. (And the slugs don't seem to like them.)
