Just finished watching the re-run of the Holland v Italy match on Eurosport.  I have always enjoyed watching the Holland matches when on tv - they seem to be coming back on form again after losing their fire a bit in recent matches.  Looking forward to tonights match - I have to get to the lottie to do some weeding but I'll be home in time for kickoff.  Is it possible for a Holland v Portugal final?

Right then - that is my prediction.  The final will be played by Holland and Portugal and may the team that plays best on the day be the winner.  And please, no penalty finishes......

Euro 2008 Who will you support?

Spain - if Spain win, Engalnd are officially the worst big football country in Europe

I drew Spain in our sweepstake - and as I thought England did officially have the worst football team in Europe it looks as though I may be on to a winner.  ;D

Viva el footoballo (or words to that effect  ;) )

Must be a borig life than, valmarg

Nope, am just not interested in what used to be sport turned into big business.

The olympics used to be for amateurs only.  Nowadays you can make megabucks from it.  Wrong, all wrong.

As I said, it is no longer 'sport' it is big business, aka boring.

Great win Ruud, our team really played well, poor ol froggies  ;D So many English adopt the oranges because there are a few similararities like- they love their football without cheating, love a drink, sometimes get in a spot of bother when the two mix and everytime I've been to Holland it pisses down.  ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.

watching the footie with "our" team not in it feels a bit like you've turned mysteriously gay in the night and then had to watch the Miss World Contest for 3 weeks. All very inetersting but not as exciting as it should be  :D

Austria - Germans in disguise

ROFL!  ;D

I owe them an apology, they actually aren't, as the Austria assistant manager has just said -"the Germans can stick their World Ranking up their @rse".
I'm starting to have a bit of trouble keeping up with who My New Bestest Friends are now

OK Ruud - what will the scores be tonight?   Netherlands 3 - Romania 1.  Whatever it is - sure to be a cracker.    Reckon the French might win by one goal over the Italians.

Oh I do hope your newspapers are wrong.  Can't see how Holland could lose "convincingly" though - suppose put out a weak team ...........but there is pride at stake here surely!  Three big wins in a row for them - confidence would be soaring.  Good luck anyway.
