caneloupe melon

hi all,I made a small hotbed this year and i put a canteloupe in there,which is growing nicely,but i now have a g,house, which is obviously a lot bigger ,would i be ok moving the melon.Soil in g'house int very good so would melon be ok in a big pot???

If the melon is already in a pot, shifting the pot, gently wont do any harm but if you are thinking of a full transplant, (dig up and re-plant). Then I can tell you that melons do not take kindly to being moved.
