Snails and broom

I have never noticed before but my broom is adorned with snails, whats the attraction?

On a serious note... they are there under the cover all the time, but the petals are nice soft easy eating so you notice them when it flowers, they don't like the stems/leaves...  :)

I frequently find snails under my broom.

Mostly dead though!  8)
