Damage to potato plants
«

Hi, everyone
Been following this site for a few months, took the plunge and joined today.
Lots of rain last week and storms. Early potatoes were knee-high with flowers but most flower stems have now snapped in half.
Is this a problem? and should I take off the snapped stems if they are still hanging on by a thread?
Probably be back with more questions as very new to veg gardening
Thanks
Suzie

Infuriating, isn't it! Same here.
Yes - pick them off & be patient!

You do all you can then the weather mucks it up
What is left the wild life help themselves to it.
Wonder why we bother, but we do.
