As for GW itself I think it has greatly improved this year and think Carol is the natural sucessor to Monty. Her knowledge of plants, expereince and enthusiasm for gardening is exactly what you need for GW
And if Joe Swift is going to be doing a show garden at Chelsea next year,he wont have much time for presenting (or his allotment ::)) GW with a bit of luck.I think John Cushnie from GQT and Carol would make a good pairing.

Just watched Beechgrove Garden on BBC i player, the GW team would learn a thing or two on how to make a gardening programe if they watched it. :)

Yes, the Beechgrove Garden programme is very good.  I have watched it for years.  You learn quite a bit on that programme from BBC Scotland.
