If you want to get rid of it.

Wait until it is very thick and lush then beat hell out of it with a stick.

It is covered with a silicone type water proof coat and this needs to be broken'

Then spray with Roundup.

Otherwise you just pick it out as it appears as the others all say, it is not a major problem

Bind weed can be, it chokes plants. Train it round a cane and even feed it to build up the strength in the root system before spraying it with Roundup.

I promise next year wont seem as bad Posie. It's not doing anything harmful, just in the way. Someone very kindly rotovated part of my plot last year and that is where it's bad this year ::). I wait til it's a digable size then out it comes.It will never go completely all the time others around you have it, but it will get less and less. ;)
