Earth up spuds with non dig method
« on: May 18, 2008, 16:19:30 »
Looking at a recent earthing up spuds thread has made me think..."and that's rare for me!!!". I use the non dig method on my 2 lotties so would it be ok to earth up so to speak with manure, straw or ???? without disturbing the ground?.

Cheers
Tony

I am certainly trying the shreaded paper route with a comfry and a single sheet of newspaper underneath then a good thick layer of shreaded paper and then a couple of sheets of newspaper on top watering in the layers with chicken poo water ;)
