This method is sure turning out to be expensive.
Advice please: Do I need to keep earthing these spuds over. I have already used 4 75l bags of compost!

start using shredded bills and junk mail, or grass clippings, certainly cheaper and re-cycles stuff ;D

Hello - Apologies for butting in - I thought the bags needed to be black so that the spuds don't end up green? Guess you could slip them in a bin bag to block the light.
