Very intersting reading about how much divergence there is here. The one I gave to my dad has completely different shaped fruit and has blight. Mine have nothing, but are covered in Copper Sulphate.

Eristic mentioned the possibility that these could in fact be some kind of an F2 separation (er, I think that's what it's called - despite coming from a family of geneticists, I aren't so clever as them) - that would certainly fit with what we're seeing... I think?
