Greenhouse staging

The first two sections up to the paving slab level. All they need now is a box round to hold the sand plunge.

Gardening is the great leveller.

Good neat job.

May I ask why you opted for sand plunge, over capillary matting? Are there pros and cons for both?

A. I have the sand and would have to buy matting
B. Never had much success with matting
C. The plants are in clay pots and absorb moisture .
D. The pots are buried in the sand so they are protected from extremes.
E. I am a traditionalist!

And you can't push cuttings into capillary matting so easily.

The carpentry there puts my efforts to shame.

:) What a grand job you have done.... it looks brilliant... I am a complete novice when it comes to greenhouses and just starting with one of my own, nowhere near has good has yours.... and looking at your wonderful set up makes me think of that song..'where do I begin'!!**!! (believe it was by Andy Williams)
WELL DONE!! Palustris really inspirational!
