The weather - why is it that...
« on: April 15, 2008, 16:04:50 »
You go to the plot in glorious sunshine, when you get there and start doing something it starts to drizzle.
So you carry on a bit and it stops - haha, Ant 1; Weather 0  :)

After about an hour the heavens open and you hope its an April shower and it will pass, but it doesn't so you go home.

After making a brew, the sun comes out and its glorious, so a quick read on here and drink my tea and I go in the garden to measure up where a greenhouse can go. Just as I am pondering exactly how much soil is in the rockery currently in the way of my plans... it rains.

Back inside. Out comes the sun...

I feel like some kind of meteorological cuckoo clock  ???

That never happens to me. Except when I've taken a Monday off work specifically to work on the allotment having been away for all of the non-rainy weekend...
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.
