You will get sent a newsletter about every 2/3 weeks and that's that. Your e mail address will not be sold on, you don't give us your telephone number or address. Simple really. I just need help compiling a Top 12 sweets chart.
This is a copy of todays newsletter so you can see what I do.

Cheers

Nick

Hi All

Well, we have drawn the name of the winner for Favourite Sweet Competition and the winner is Mr Williams from Blackburn. Congratulations - a Hamper is on its way to you in the next few days.

Our next competition is to win another hamper of sweets - all you have to do is vote for one of the top 12 sweets, and as long as you have subscribed to the newsletter, your entry will be validated.

I must admit I was surprised by one of the choices - Clotted Cream Fudge. I got many e mails saying that their grandfather used to eat it and that's why they love it so.
Oh well it takes allsorts (liquorice allsorts)! Another terrible sweet joke unleashed on the unsuspecting public )

Sweet of the week is Rhubarb and Custard 250gm bag. 10% off the normal price.

We also sell the sugar free version.

Other Sugar Free Goodies

My recommendations for sweets are these
http://www.thepinksugarmouse.com/SWSTSPCH - You don't see many spearmint sweets nowadays and spearmint tastes so lovely

http://www.thepinksugarmouse.com/SWBASTBO - These are just classic sweets, always remind me of Sunday mornings at the sweet shop with my Dad

http://www.thepinksugarmouse.com/SWSTKOCU - I remember walking home from school in Finchley, with my mate Carlos eating these.

Send me your 3 favourite sweets from www.thepinksugarmouse.com and tell me why. If I send it out on the next e mail, I will send you a free bag of sweets. (Please confirm you are happy for this to happen though)

After last years' votes, where you told us what you wanted, we have done away with the minimum order and if you want to buy just 150gms of sweets and nothing else, you now can.

Plus you asked for a wider variety of weights so that you can choose something more to your liking.
We now have 150g - 250g - 400g - 700g size bags on lots of sweets and more are being added all the time, as will larger sizes, as there is much demand for wedding favors, milestone birthdays (40th etc) corporate events and much more. Sizes 1KG and upwards also get a discount and we can discuss any packaging that you may require. This is very much work in progress, so watch this space.

Contact Keith and Gill for wedding favors, birthday and corporate event packages on 01202 674117. I wouldn't advise leaving a message, as the answerphone is currently being temperamental and does not always do what it's told!! Or e mail myself with your contact details to nick@thepinksugarmouse.com and I will get Keith and Gill to phone you.

An astounding 71% of people who voted said they wanted a free bag of sweets when the sweet club gets up and running. Duly noted and thanks.

Things to see when in Poole.

Tuesday night is Bike Night on The Quay - we get up to 1500 bikes coming down every Tuesday and you can just come along and inspect them or maybe ride down here and be part of the scene. It's a good night out and we get bikers down from all over the country. They have raised £1,000's of pounds for local charities and it is definitely worth a trip here.
They have a competition for Bike of the Night and at the end of the year the Bike of the Year Finale.
You could pop in to see us at Truly Scrumptious, get some fudge, ice cream or sweets and watch them arrive - show starts at about 6pm.

Dream Machines runs from Tuesday April 1st till end of September 2008 (Every Tuesday)

5th/6th April - Brownsea Island - Take a ferry from just round the corner from Truly Scrumptious, High Street, Poole. For the spring wildlife trails and craft activities.
10.30am - 3.30pm National Trust event. Perfect for a half term day out.

May 24th - 26th Poole Regatta - Poole Bay and Harbour. 3 days of yacht racing.

More events in Poole in the next newsletter.

Well that's it for now - I'm off to enjoy the longer, lighter evenings and await our glorious summer?? Well, we'd have nothing else to talk about otherwise, and what other country can get such a change in weather year after year. That's what makes it so interesting

It beats waiting at Terminal 5

Cheers and all the best

Nick
