Hi, I have grown many squash but never grown marrows and I fancy having a go at growing a big one just for a bit of fun.
Does anyone have any advice??
Jokes welcome from friends!!
I do have seeds if anyone wants to have a go with me as I truly have no idea.

I love marrows, they make me go all sentimental!
My grandad used to grow my name on them for me, my pricking it on small marrows with a pin when they are tiny, and the name 'magically' grows as the marrow does. I did this for my kids last year and they got quite attached to 'their' marrows, I had trouble getting them to eat them as they wanted to keep them! ;D

Aah, that is sweet, come on and join us. I think you are our expert at the moment.
I think I am going to have a go at a big butternut too, seeing as I don't grow those either
Have seeds for both so I have changes the heading
