Hospital tomorrow
« on: March 12, 2008, 19:57:28 »
Im off tomorrow to the hozzy again, another bout of walking about in a gown with my @rse hanging out. Not so much walking tomorrow though. I shall hopefully  be pushed about on a trolley while I sleep, blissfully unaware of anything going on.

I have to have a nasty growth taken out of the roof of my mouth and a bit of radical dentistry to stop it coming back.

The OH says it is my own fault because of my foul mouth. But she will come and take me home tomorrow evening. So at least I don't have to get the bus home. I have just read the hospital notes and they advise me not to ride a bicycle, or use equipment that needs skill or judgement, so watch out for any inane drivel coming from any of my posts in the next few days.(Yeh, I know, how will we tell)

Food will be liquid as I will not be able to chew, so it will be chicken soup and liquidised rumtopft, I might just skip the chicken soup though.

All the best for tomorrow, Ace - and be nice to all those lovely nurses!!
I presume you are going into the day stay unit, as you will be home tomorrow night - so you will be given a cup of tea, a yogurt and then encouraged to get out of bed!

Oh Ace, I shall be thinking about you, all nice things, and looking forward to you posting again in a day or so.

I don't think sleepy med stops your fingers.

Skip the chicken soup, stay veggie and fruity..

Hurry home, I'll leave the porch light on.

Lots of love,

XX Jeannine

Well thats that then. All cut out, rasped down and sewn up. Big box of painkillers for when the injections wear off, and a feeling like youve been in the ring with Tyson. But am I glad that horrible thing is out of my mouth. Thanks for your good wishes, I have a lovely big jug of real fruit smoothie. the latest pirates dvd and tucked up on the sofa.  It's raining out, so I am in the best place.

I have only just realised, I forgot to put my nicotine patch on this morning. I'm on the weakest anyway so it looks like I might have cracked that problem as well.
