Help needed re Romanesco
« on: March 12, 2008, 19:24:19 »
Hi, does anyone know about any of the different Romanesco varieties..I have a couple but am wondering about how many there are  and how they vary eg differences in seasons, tastes and what size they can get to, color shades etc ( I know they are all green).

I have caulis that grow from medium to extra huge, summer and winter and all shades and I am fairly OK with those but I am a bit ignorant about Romanesco.

Does anyone know please

I have 'Ottobrino' from Realseeds. Its an autumn maturing variety, so no need to overwinter.
I haven't grown it yet, give me a few minutes and I'll check it out.

Your welcome to try a few seeds if you like.  ;)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Ok its fast maturing (72days), yellow heads, its great for specialist growers and mini/baby veg growers. I don't know how big the plants grow though sorry.

Hope that helps.....a little ;)
