Hello to all.
« on: March 02, 2008, 09:04:31 »
Just a quick note to say "HI".

I got my alotment a few weeks ago. Was spurned into action as the council are rapidly selling them off for development. Wanted to get fit and eat some some decent veg.

May ask some (daft) questions, but please bare with me.

Galleries up and running.

Any tips will be greatly rcvd.  :D

Hello Flunky and welcome :D

You got a virgin plot, Im glad to hear its being used for growing rather than building. You made short work of the 'digging' with that beast as well.

Happy growing, visit here often and show us nosey beggars your progress ;)
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

Hi Flunky,

Your plot looks impressive, well done. If I gave you any advice it would be plant, plant plant as soon as you can.

Good luck and hope you have a great first year.

Right then,

The lottie has been sectioned off and I now have half of it divided again into 4 seperate areas.

The spuds are in Maris piper main crop and Epicure earlies (get me with the jargon), anyhoo. Broad beans (sutton I thnk) and some white onions (not sure on type).

And finally I have managed to get some blue pipe and can finally start on my cloches. Will post some pics when I can.

Any thoughts or advice would always be welcome.

Welcome, Flunky.  What a huge plot you have to plant!

This site has lots of wonderful advice. The only downside is they'll give you too many tempting ideas of NEW things to plant ;D
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.
