After a big blast last night and rain it's now sunny and very windy.

Dustbins moved, some plants snapped off (fortunately many staked) and still the wind blows.

Such a shame my sister has a ferry crossing to make after another weeks holiday (France this time) - never mind I'll carry on looking after our parents as I've done all year.....and the year before that and the year before that. ::)

Gales have dropped and no rain for the last hour, whooo hooo it must be June ::)
Leaves and branches strewn across the lawn, poor little birdies have had a hard couple of days.

No rain to speak of today, but the winds are flooring the foxgloves and delphiniums and battering the roses too :'(

Just been woken up by the sound of the wind no obvious damage other than a plant which has been knocked off the top of the mini greenhouse rain on and off but all my beds look like swimming pools again.

It's been pouring here since I woke up at 6:30. I am glad I got loads done yesterday. I still have cauliflowers and brussel sprouts to go in.....I am so behind. :'(
