We've had a heavy frost and minus 10 temperature for the last few days. Drfinitely unusual. Taday's rain (cornish sunshine) makes it a more normal type of weather.

The weather in Stortford is very cold but no snow

It was -10 last night and -8 when I went out this morning. The most beautiful of sunrises the red sun made the frost look pink.

By 12 oclock the temperature was a balmy 3C. Now it is snowing gently. But with a nice real fire buring in the grate and a hot water bottle it does not seem to be so cold.

Well it started to snow at 6.55pm and has not stopped were on at least 4 inches and i have a huge snowdrift up the side of the house on the garage wall.

Some bits are easily 6 inches Harriets 1st snowman here we come !
