Scottish Borders  is horrendous.  Lashing rain and gales.  Lots of flood warnings out in the area and just wish it would stop.   Not heard of local folk having flood water into their houses yet, but its still raining.

non stop down pour here all day in Coalville, basically a repeat of yesterday.

hard to believe that this time last week I was sun bathing on the Isle of Wight in 20+ degrees.

The weather in Nottingham was variable today.

It varied between pi** wet through and THOROUGHLY Pi** wet through.

The usual weather prediction sites were as usual, as useful as Mystic Meg on the lottery winning numbers in 1997.

"Someone in Nottingham will be lucky TONIIIIIIIIIIIGHT"

Someone in Nottingham is p**s wet through! How lucky is THAT!

Still dull dull dull but at least no rain here today but the ground is saturated like everywhere else.  Feel sorry for the Farmers. they are all tearing their hair out can't get going with the harvest and most of it willhave to be chopped up and returned to the soil, no use at all.  Looks like another wet week ahead again.

It is 80f in the greenhouse although the breeze has a little bite to it ideal for working Waiting for my
meal from next door then going out again (If my sciatica will let me ;D) Sure makes you feel better on days like this.
