Thought I was stupid too, Je ne comprehend, the joke. Long time since I did French at school. Do you know what you touch type when you put the wrong fingers on the keys. R vrtysinly hopr noy. Funny that Kev cause it was a lovely sunny day today in Enfield, think I have got sunburn. Did a lot of watering.

They say it is the worst for many many years..as I said earlier, in my mind I am almost beginning to accept it as permanent. John was there a couple of days ago trying to move some rotten wood off the new plot, he was working past his ankles is soft mud, he finally had no choice but to give up. It is clay so you can imagine how sticky it was, he said his boots kept getting stuck and once or twice he ended up with his sock in the mud if he toppled over when the boot got stuck.

In Nantes today there were a few clouds this morning, but now it is fine and warm. Lord it seems daft to pray for rain but I could do with some! Seems silly to be watering in April!!
