Greenhouse door stuck fast here too. I have Babington Leek outside which is still very small and covered by snow, but the greenhouse ones are a foot high and really appreciated when it is too cold to harvest anything else. And now it is too cold and icy even for that. -8C at the moment and set to get colder.

5-6 inches of snow here this morning in Dorchester. Just stopped now. Dont know if there is more to come or not. Clouds still look pretty thick with it.

had some massive snowflakes with it. largest i have ever seen i think.

Recorded something of a record low for our garden 2 nights ago. -9.2C! Have known it to get down to -8c on a few occasions but never that low. Getting into the territory of too cold even for some hardier plants in the garden.

-14 here last night. I saw a lovely fox this morning, walking round the site. I hope we're going to see more of them; I haven't seen one for a couple of years, and they keep the rats down.

Started snowing again in Swindon. Its not been to bad here so far. Not much fun at 3.30 am trying to get into a frozen car though.
