Yet again no rain - yesterday, there were downpours not three miles away....tomorrow's promised heavy rain has wussed down to maybe a light shower....grrr.

That's what keeps happening here too in  Northants, close the border with Bedfordshire.  It is so dry.  I did myself an injury too, but not from carrying watering cans.  I made the mistake of digging out garlic from rock hard clay soil.  I am dreading tackling the potatoes!

Suffolk....it's raining!! Its working!!! I've been petitioning my thoughts to the universe for it to rain in the night...yay!!! :)

We had steady rain last night before I went to bed at 11.30pm not sure how long the rain lasted but everywhere does feel and look a little fresher.  need more

We had fine rain overnight and out came the sunshine today and dried it all up again...........incy wincy spider comes to mind  ::)

well it's chucking it down here in the hose pipe ban area and has been almost since the ban began, very few days it hasn't rained all through July and up until today - we haven't had a BBQ since the end of June  :(

Weather continues to be a mixed bag, yesterday was gorgeous, a little windy but beautiful sunshine all day.
Today the wind is really blowing and it has not stoped raining.
