About 21 degrees here, but add on the wind chill and it was freezing!  Wondering whether to water or not.

Overcast, wind a bit keen but no rain although my daughter was working 5 miles from me and she said it poured for a while.

Cost me £40 for netting but its great!

Today is rain rain rain and I got wind too :-X

we've had this easterly wind on and off now for a few weeks, really gale force for the past few days and it is this that has kept the rain away - impossible to water the garden or the plot as it gets blasted all over me instead of the ground  ;D

In my part of S.Brum there's flooding too - not only have the drains not been able to cope with the sheer quantity of the wet stuff we've had, but guess that the drain grids themselves are blocked with the leaf debris the winds have brought down - looks like autumn here, cept the leaves are bright green ???

(rant mode ON).....why oh why! aren't ALL dual-controlled driving school cars equipped with a second bloomin steering wheel? The L coming towards me - at the limit of 30mph, while I'd slowed to 20 to avoid the dodgem tree debris hazards - suddenly was right in front of me as he swerved to avoid a twig....instructor (and I) both slammed on our brakes & hey! only minor damage to my front bumper......grrrrrr (rant-mode OFF)

And now the rain has started again......thank the Lord for a freezer still full from last year - no bl**dy way am I getting wet again picking swiss chard from the garden...

I'd agree with the comment about driving school cars; Namissa once had an instructor panic, get out of the car and refuse to go any further with her when she was starting to learn. All very unprofessional, and if he'd been able to take control, quite unnecessary.

It's not so bad at this end of Birmingham, but yours has got a lot worse since they closed the old Moneyhull Hospital and added those extra estates without considering potential flood problems. We had heavy rain all day yesterday, but the stgream through the allotments, which does flood, never rose much at all. It's drizzling a bit now, but I'm off to the plot in a bit anyway.

High north easterly wind and heavy rain here just outside of Bristol!
it rained most of yesterday but cleared up mid afternoon so we put the beans and sweetcorn in knowing it was going to rain agin today but I didn,t expect the fierce wind so now am worried how my babies are coping! not worried enough to go and look I got drenched just replacing a blown over pot

Sunny day here in the Borders but with a strong NEasterlie.   We have had this cool east wind for 2 weeks now, getting sick of it.
