My emerging BB's, which are germinating in pots, were wilting badly under cloches yesterday. Some have had it, but those are the ones that looked weak anyway, so not much loss.

Yes, 24 degrees near Hastings. Was getting ready to brushcut new plot (got 2 already) when council man turned up to mow neighbour's plot with big machine. Asked him to do mine as well, and he did! Offered him a fiver, but he refused, saing he wasn't allowed to take it.

I would have really liked the council to mow my second plot nearby, but never thought to ask. ::)

No chance with first plot, not even a council one.

Earthed up potatoes instead, and mulched them with his cuttings.

Scorchio here in Derby, but a bit cloudy and muggy now.....
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

We had five minutes of heavy rain with massive drops, then it drifted off and started thundering over the city centre. It got a bit cooler though.

Well folks, pleased to hear you have all been having warm warm weather but I have been frozen since Sunday.  Dull days, cold east wind and the heating has been put back on again.
