Harrow, north-west London, is a mixture of sunshine and showers. Not much of the first but plenty of the second!
Flighty's plot,  http://flightplot.wordpress.com,  is my blog.

Very dark down our way, just had flash of lightning and a crack of thunder!

Gazebos were packed away an hour ago!

Sunny Enfield is not too sunny tonight, lots and lots of lovely rain, which we need, my beans will grow well tonight.  Shame about granddaughters sports day tomorrow and picnic lunch but might be sunny by then.  ;D ;D

So all that bru ha ha yesterday about rain and still not enough to go down more than 4 inches into the soil, where it is still bone dry.

Supposed to be raining now, but the met office radar shows it miles away and the sun is coming out.

Oh no they have just changed it to heavy showers.  More rain forecast for this afternoon, coming in from WNW so we should hopefully finally get some real rain.

Had about 20mm of rain  ;D

Thunder, lightening, hail.......I'm guessing that it will have wet the top 2mm of soil at the allotment...the soil is now hydrophobic.

Don't think the rain has stopped since about 4a.m. here. Daughter was driving over the Pennines today so was relieved when I heard she'd got to Chester safe and sound.
