Having taken on our allotment we now know for a fact that a very big house builder from the east mids who built the estate that backs onto our allotments put in a new road of only a few metres long which leads to the allotments with a price tag of a million £ on it, that is todays price if you want to buy it, he would like first refusal on the land that our allotments are on if the council ever makes the land available, >:(
