Passion flower - a request
« on: February 11, 2008, 09:17:15 »
..I wonder if you committed Wilkos/Aldis/Wollies/etc. bargain hunters will keep an eye out for passion flower plants & give me a shout here if you see them whenever? I know that it's still early for them to be in, but if you could bear this in mind? I'm going to need 4, and I don't do the circuit of the shops, usually.

Many thanks,

Lishka

Alishka, if it's Caerulea you're after, I've got babies sprouting up in the garden, all rooted, some pretty vigorous already. Would these do?

Very many thanks manics and especially very many thanks mazin..I'll PM you.

Passion flowers....I had a call from a distressed client "HELP! My passion flower's gone all 'funny' - I think it's got a disease!"....so yesterday I googled possible diseases and went along. Took a look & reported back to client.."Yer Daft Bat!...nothing wrong with it atorl. It's the middle of the bleedin winter & it's frosty at night. YOU'D be all wrinkled round the edges if you were out in this weather!..."

Hi Lishka. Morrisons have climbers in early usually. They are under £2. each. I've bought some more unusual PFs from them. If you have one near you it might be worth a phone call.
Janet.

Thanks Janet 8) Mazin's going to send me some of her babies ::) but just in case they don't survive the trip I'll ask DB if she'll look in Morries...she goes shopping there with Ring'n'Ride evry week. :)

Amazin, if you still have any seedlings left, I'll happily give them a good home  ;D I'd pay postage of course, or could swap with seeds if you're interested, let me know if you can. Thanks!
