My camera is a Nikon D300 (DSLR) 12mgpx, for this image I had a 17-35mm F2.8 zoom lens attached. The Orchid was photographed in front of our living room window , I used flash to counter the effect of back lighting .

Thanks for that. I just love the way the orchid is so in focus and the background is not.

Yes I have plenty of photos :) I'll start some fresh topics though, I seem to have inadvertently highjacked this thread ::)
I've also started my personal galleries, hopefully it won't be too long before I get my allotment and will be able to document its progress as well.
