rhubarb
« on: March 03, 2008, 12:56:24 »
Ive been moving and dividing a couple of very old rhubarb plants today and have lots of large crowns left over looking for homes. its good flavour but i dont know the variety.  the peices are a bit too big to post really but if anyone is in the bournemouth christchurch poole area (i know youre out there) and you want some then let me know.  :)

That's a shame, we were staying in Bashley a couple of weeks ago. Lovely area, never been there before, normally Selsey or Devon. Made me want to move  :)

I was sent a crown by a kind lady on here last year and it was great, much better than the one I bought from a GC.  Shame but I live in Lancashire.
