I went out to buy Shallots today, None wilkos in blackwood, merthyr. pontypridd, none in B&Q`s and none in the local garden shops. Just been told in a local Garden shop in pontlottyn that there has been a crop failure due to last years bad weather. Any one else having problems

Got some in our Wilkinsons and picked some up at Potato day but our lottie shop says there is a real problem with onion sets this year..

I saved mine from the pick of last years stock.
Plus I am having a go at growing them from seed this year,never done it that way before!

Wilkos & B&Q up this way all sold out but I have managed to get some at last but not the amount I needed, I only have 2 kilos a friend gave me them this morning. I was really looking for 15kilos as I used a lot of them in cooking
