Hi guys, so glad I found this site...

Im seriously thinking about keeping a few chickens at home, i was wondering if somebody here can tell me how much feed they get through every month  :)
I want to keep  3 chickens at most....

I have 12 hens that cost me £7-8 per week maximum. They get extras such as bread, fruit past its best, greens from the lottie such as sprout  and cauli leaves. I know I know.... they are spoilt sometimes. (Does not leave much left for my compost bin)

Shouldn't cost you more than about £10 per month
