which strawberry

the kids have conned me into having a strawberry patch soooo
which varietys are going to be best.
i would of course rather have them spread out over as long as poss rather than loads of them all in a few weeks
any other advice re streawberrys would be very welcome

we love marshmello, big, juicy fruit..but, watch out for strawberries coming in to lidl's etc, last year we picked up 6 plants, 3 different varieties , for 2.99..one early, one mid and one late..first harvest this year so we're looking forward to it  ;D

little baby bird I have some alpine strawberry seeds if you want some they grow little strawberries ideal for children  ;D

We do a collection of 3 varieties (early-mid-late) 10 crowns of each variety.

I have Malling Opal which is a pertual and fruited until the end of October and the fruits were big and juicy.

I'm also a fan of 'Marshmello', great flavour, also 'Gariguette', long pointy fruits and outstanding sweetness..... ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I can recommend Florence and Marshmallow.  My children cannot get enough of them.  Enjoy
