You just couldn't make it up
« on: February 01, 2008, 22:35:41 »
2 nights ago the wind did some serious damage. It lifted my kids 13ft trampoline with enclosure, threw it into my greenhouse at home breaking some glass, then continued to throw it over my fence & breaking it, continued over next door neighbours washing line before hitting the following garden fence and crashing to the ground, breaking some of her ornaments.

Never claimed on our insurance for about 5 years, Phoned my insurance company to submit a legitimate claim..... they are sending round an assessor.

Oh dear, it quite amazing how powerful mother nature is. Hope the insurance sorts it out for you.
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.

The wind threw my Metal Shed and contents over the fence a few years ago.. when I put it back I turned it through 90 degrees so that the door wasn't facing into the wind!!

I once dropped a dress and a pair of knickers off my balcony in Milan, they blew onto the clothes line of someone two floors down and in the next building.  I got the porter in my building to negotiate the return of them.   :o :o :o :o :o :o

I always do my best to hang on to my knickers when I'm in a forign county, especially when I'm in a night club.

Didn't you buy the trampoline especially for its bounce ??

The insurers assessor came yesterday. Getting a cheque for the greenhouse glass and some of the fencing, along with a trampoline from the insurers suppliers.

One thing that he did say which is a warning to all.... Insurers apparently class trampolines as house contents. Any contents that is left in the garden, outside the house is not usually covered. Does this mean that it has to be dismantled at the end of each day.  :o :o
