potato peelings

how can i tell when they are cooked as I'm just doing some now and don't know when they will be cooked??

They are cooked until they are soft enough to be squashed and mixed well in with your layers or growers meal, to form a slightly dampish crumbly mash, with no lumps  of potato in it..,
