sorry, it won't stay still long enough to have it's piccy taken..it's basically a blue tit sized bird, same colour as the great tit but with a white stripe through the centre 'parting' of it's head, we have loads of the others but only one of these, is it just a tit with a mohican or a different type ?  ;D

I found that one but he's more browny coloured and the white streak goes from front to back  :)

I've had another look and I think his 'mohawk' does only go part way across his head,
 from the back to the front so, maybe a coal tit, the cap is black..
not a long-tailed one, we get them occasionally, little beauties
so, maybe a baby, he's quite small but a fierce little thing over peanuts,
 ta, everyone  :)
oh, and we've called him Spike after the gremlin  ;D

I agree, it will be a Coal Tit.  Does it take food and dash off with it.  Coal Tits don't hang about for long.  Back and forward.
