Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticise them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

My sister cooked what she called "pigeons' bosoms" wrapped up in  ransom leaves. Unfortunately I cannot report on the result, as I was too ill to eat them.  But I thought it was a good idea.

5 arrived home.......excellent so far ;D ;D

Thats a shame artichoke, you'll have to ask yer sis to make it again and let us know how they turned out.

Actually when you said pigeons bosoms, it reminded me of when my 6 yr old grandaughter asked if chickens had nipples.  :o ;D ;D

Another lot arrived today :D......It was brought to my attention that I didnt put sowing instructions with the seed.

Im guessing that sowing soon would emulate the natural spread......though a spring sowing would work too. I doubt that mollycoddling isnt what it needs, so leave out in the elements of winter or whenever you sow them.

Once you've got it, beware of being taken over  :-\!! I dont even know if its perennial or biennial yet, its my first experience of Ramsons too.

Good luck everyone....hope they do well......but not tooooo well for you  ;)

Sue - thanks for the seeds - they arrived today.  Will pop half of them into the greenhouse in a pot today and save the rest for the Spring.

Star, if you have any left I would love some too if it won't leave you short but not a problem if you are running low now, it seems you have been so generous with them, I have lots of swappsies if you can spare a few, XX Jeannine

Hello Star

Yeah I only got them when I posted thanks to you - I had actually forgotten I had asked for them and had to look up the name before the penny dropped.  Maybe it was the christmas rush of christmas cards etc that made them late.  I had already printed out a sheet on their care and filed it in my pending folder.

I have not yet planted them - will wait another couple of week I think.
